We are shooting for MAY 13th as the opening week for the Wednesday Night League.
In order to keep up with rising costs including the year-end dinner and prizes we need to adjust the cost for the league this years to $75 per player- still a great deal.
As mentioned in the last email (see below) we would still love to hear from you if you have ideas for improving the league this year. Don’t hesitate to email me directly using robert.schwartz@lpl.com .

The 2026 Wednesday Night League is being coordinated by the Andrew and Bob (as in Katz and Schwartz) show. This year we would like to keep the competition while injecting some fun . We have heard many ideas regarding what changes players would like to see. Andrew and I are sharing some of these ideas for your evaluation and ask that you share your ideas with us. Our goal is to make the men's league grow and be fun.
Ideas for consideration;
• Some flexibility in schedule. If the both teams approve, player(s) may play before Wednesday and turn the score by Wednesday night.
• Season-long birdie pool. Anyone that is interested, puts in $5 or $10 at the beginning of the season, the individual(s) with the most at the end of the season gets the cash..
• Longest drive/closest to the pin throughout the season.
• Within each match, teams have the flexibility to adjust rules for that match (i.e. rolling the ball and gimmies)
• We will work with the restaurant on dinner deals (maybe a buffet) on league nights to foster camaraderie on league nights
We will work with Sam in the pro-shop to keep up with scoring and handicaps so having scores in by end of each Wednesday is important.
